Activities
At EduLActiva, our work doesn’t stop at international projects—we’re deeply rooted in our local community. Through ongoing collaborations with schools, municipalities, and civil society organizations, we run diverse initiatives that empower individuals, promote inclusion, and spark creativity across Lithuania. Here’s how we bring learning and inclusion to life, day to day:

Workshops & Community Learning Events
We regularly organize creative, hands-on workshops for children, youth, and adults—often in partnership with local schools and communities. In cooperation with Ukmerge Uzupis Secondary school, we’ve hosted interactive sessions on teamwork, communication, and creative expression. From digital storytelling and visual arts to civic engagement and personal growth, our workshops give space for real-life learning and connection.

Inclusive Arts, Sports & Music Activities
EduLActiva strongly believes in the power of arts and movement to include everyone. In collaboration with Asociacija IVAIGO, we’ve implemented inclusive music and sports sessions that support children with special educational needs and those from rural areas. These activities help develop emotional intelligence, build friendships, and create a sense of belonging.

Educational Agriculture & Sustainability Programs
Thanks to the leadership of Irena Rokiene and Algis Rokas, we integrate environmental education and hands-on farming into our learning model. Through school gardens, nature-based learning, and community clean-up actions, we teach youth about sustainability, eco-awareness,and food systems. Together with Ukmerge Municipality, we aim to involve young people in shaping a greener, more responsible future.

Awareness Campaigns & Advocacy Work
EduLActiva develops and shares educational content on gender equality, inclusion, and youth rights. Working closely with Asociacija IVAIGO, we engage in digital campaigns and local school visits that raise awareness about diversity, equality, and social justice. Our goal is to build more open, inclusive, and respectful communities.

Partnerships with Schools and Local Stakeholders
We collaborate actively with schools, kindergartens, and youth centers in Ukmerge district and beyond. Thanks to our strong partnership with Ukmerge Municipality, we’ve been able to co-create initiatives that respond directly to local needs—from parenting workshops and educator training to community celebrations that highlight local talents and cultures.

Training for Educators and Youth Workers
Our team of experienced educators and youth facilitators provides training sessions on inclusive education, digital tools, classroom engagement strategies, and non-formal methods. In partnership with Asociacija IVAIGO, we contribute to the professional growth of teachers, social workers, and NGO staff working with vulnerable youth and adults in Ukmerge region.
